A Second Awakening?

BEIRELN, 27 Semptember 2007 — His Majesty indends to give the People the opportunity to change Slobovia's form of government beginning today according to His Majesty himself. His Majesty will present four plans (two republican, two monarchistic), which the People may discuss and amend, and from which they may choose, to the National Assembly.

This shall be the first opportunity the People have had to change the form of government since they chose to replace the Slobovian Democratic Republic with the Slobovian Republic in 2003. That change began the Great Awakening, which led Slobovish society from then to the entrance of Slobovia into the Arminian Community in 2004. The historical significance of this opportunity is known well to the King, who has stated that he wishes to begin a Second Awakening.

What form of government will the People choose? Will Slobovia have its Second Great Awakening? Time alone can tell the answers to these questions, but one can trust that, so long as someone is interested in Slobovia, the Phoenix will never die, only burn.
